Kari Samantha (born April 28th, 1967) Wuhrer is an American singer and actress. Her career started when she was still a teenager. Her most well-known roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). She has three sisters and brothers. The singer began performing in clubs as a teenager, and would sneak out of her home to perform. Kari Wuhrer, born in 1967 was an American model, singer and actor. She started her acting career at the Wooster School at the age of 13 years old. Born in Brookfield on April 28, 1967. Her German-American dad is also a dealer in cars and a police agent. Kari has three siblings. Kari was a nightclub singer when she was in her teens. She would sneak out from home and perform. Kari began studying acting when she was 13. Her next stage of study was acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College in addition to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, along with Uta Hagen, a renowned teacher. Kari began performing in her teens, with her first television appearance on 1987's MTV Remote Control.
